View Tasks in a Calendar with iCal Feeds

Lots of us organize our tasks by imagining them on a calendar. This makes it easy to balance how much work you do on any day and gives you a feel for what your week looks like.
Now you can sync your Asana tasks with due dates to a calendar like Google Calendar, Apple iCal, and Microsoft Outlook.
To start viewing your tasks in a calendar, click on the menu to the right of the project name or your Assigned task view in the middle pane and select “Sync to Calendar”. Then, you can click the webcal link or Google Calendar button. Incomplete tasks with due dates will appear on your calendar.
We’d love to know what you think! Please email us at feedback@asana.com

Have already tried this. I use Thunderbird with the Lightning extension, and I imported the Asana calendar into it. It seems the events don’t have a reminder setting by default, and are read only.
What would be ideal is that I grab the calendar feed from my project, import into my desktop client, and have my desktop client remind me of upcoming tasks.
To clariify the last sentence – the events in the calendar imported from Asana should have reminders ‘built in’.
Great! Now, make it 2-way, please! LOVE the product, but Google Calendar is so important to us, and if we had the ability to …
1. move items IN GCal to other days… and that updates Asana due dates,
2. Modify Asana tasks for notes (dare I ask for a comment field?
If #1 above was done, I would be smiling from ear to ear, if #2 was done as well, I’m afraid my mind would explode with joy.

Yeah I agree, why not break the first goal up into smaller albaeveihce goals? Get organised and write everything down so when you do achieve something and get something done you can tick it off the list and this visual will show you what you have done! Goodluck!
I wish I could include tasks marked for “today” in the calendar feed for given day, even if they don’t have due dates.
I understand such uncompleted tasks would have to move from one day to another in the calendar as I procrastinate on them :P
