What's New in Asana

Siri: Create a task in Asana

Siri, remind me to check on the campaign performance tomorrow, in Asana.

Hi, Siri. Make a task in Asana to send an offer letter to Kathryn, due Friday.

Hey Siri, remind me to share the keynote slides with the executive team, using Asana.

Hello Siri, remind me in Asana to go to work tomorrow at 9am.

Asana and Siri now work together to ensure you can easily add your to-dos, reminders, and work to Asana from anywhere. Whether you’re in between meetings, out for coffee, have one last idea before bed, or simply not into typing—Asana and Siri keep good ideas moving forward.

How to create Asana tasks with Siri

Start adding tasks to Asana with Siri. Here’s how:

  1. Download the latest version of Asana for iOS.
  2. Press and hold the Home button.
  3. Say, “Hey Siri.”
  4. Say a task name—like, “create a task in Asana to post photos of the conference”.
  5. Make sure to say, “in Asana” or “using Asana” somewhere in your task name.
  6. Check My Tasks in Asana to see it.

*Be sure to have iOS version 11.0.0 or higher.

This integration works in multiple languages, just like Asana. Add tasks for yourself, with a due date and due time, so good ideas and important to-dos don’t get forgotten.

Let us know what you’ll get done with Asana and Siri in the comments below.

Editor’s note: This is our first step in our Asana and Siri integration. We are working on the ability to add tasks to projects and assign them to teammates. Stay tuned for more updates by subscribing to our blog!
